What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Having played, read music, recorded, performed, improvised, and jammed, my entire childhood, teenage years and continuing as an Adult, I pursuded my formal education at Whitman College and then on to more musical training at The Juilliard School. Cheryl Teach Music can help you with your musical dreams and goals, on any instrument, drums, and voice.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

How did you get started teaching?

Growing up in a musical family spanning generations, I have always loved music. I continued my formal and informal musical education with emphasis on playing, reading, improvising, performing, and teaching.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Make sure you feel 100% comfortable and that you are always safe. It is very important to have an easy fit. Make sure your teacher understands you and will work with you in the way you desire and the way it works best and most efficientlly for you.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

If you are in front if an experienced and knowledgeable instructor, they will guide you through those questions even if you are not completely sure yourself.
