About this pro

I've spent close to 40 years studying martial arts and 30 years studying human behavior and personal development via psychology, spirituality, and health & wellness to understand myself and others, and what motivates our choices and habits.  I specialize in transforming and developing people.

With the application of my studies in over 18,000 personal training sessions, consultations, group training hours, and sales, I've transformed myself from a lost, at-risk youth into a renowned wellness specialist, personal development leader and coach.

I enjoy being able to teach and empower others with the confidence that comes from knowing how to defend one's self and improve health at the same time.

I have been training with Coach Mike for a little over a month now. Prior to my training, I thought I understood the basics of boxing. Turns out I didn’t. Not only have I gained more knowledge about boxing but I have a better understanding of my body mechanics. Coach Mike takes the time to explain what happens in your body for every movement/workout. He makes sure you understand the “WHY”. I leave every session feeling accomplished and motivated. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to take on a rewarding challenge.

He gives your real life scenarios that you will use the skills he teaches you and is a very good coach. You can tell he loves what he does. I personally had a lot of fun learning boxing with him and look forward to training sessions.

This is the first time I've taken any type of fighting lessons, I cannot imagine my experience being any better than what I have with Mike. Mike's couching is very concise and clear and he will make sure you fully understand the current step before moving to the next.
