Get to know their passions and interests with music and use that as a springboard for their journey through music!

I have 2 B.A. Degrees from Berklee College Of Music in Boston MA. Jazz Composition/Arranging & Guitar Performance.

How did you get started teaching?
I have taught throughout my 25 year carrer and it comes down to sharing passion and knowledge with others through music.
What types of students have you worked with?
Students of all ages and backgrounds. Some of my students have gone on to win music scholarships to prestigious colleges.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently played with Louie Shelton, one of the original members of the Wrecking Crew (Michael Jackson, Monkees, Lionel Ritchie and more).
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Be open minded, be excited and remember: music is fun!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Either specific questions on what they would like to work on or at the very least songs they want to learn.
