What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First thing to do is to explain the mechanics of the guitar. Understanding how the whole thing works is crucial, every knob, every fret.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a professional musician/engineer. I've worked with multi-platinum recording artists. I specialize in building professional musicians.

$65/hour for music lessons.
How did you get started teaching?
I started out teaching music at 12 to my closest friends so that we could have a band. I wrote the songs; drums, bass and guitar, and then I taught them to my friends. The bass player wrote the lyrics and booked the shows and by the time I was 13, we were a touring band. I've been teaching and writing music ever since.

All genres of music with students of all ages!
