About
I love to give a practice that is individual to the persons' needs. This could mean a class motivated by goals of increasing flexibility, stamina, body awareness, spiritual connection, emotional and stress relief, or all of the above. I completed my 200RYS yoga teacher training in the Hatha style of yoga, in Rishikesh, India. This intense training focused on alignment and form, to build strength and stamina through long holds whilst increasing focus by always connecting to the breath.
I love to connect with people and hear about what brought them to yoga, what about it makes them show up, and what brings them back. I love to hear that satisfying exhale as they relax into savasana feeling accomplished and satisfied. I love to illustrate to people that we all have the tools we need to find a place of calm amongst any storm

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to spend a few minutes getting to know a new student, understanding what their goals are and discussing the ways in which they would like to achieve them. We will go over any injuries or considerations, both physical and emotional, and formulate an individualised plan going forwards in regards to how they would like the format of the class to be initially (regularity of classes, duration of classes, time spent for physical asanas compared to pranayama {breathwork} or meditation etc). This format will likely change over time according to the students needs and wishes.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I completed my 200RYS yoga teacher training in Rishikesh, India in 2019. The training was rigorous and intense, but incredibly rewarding. I trained in traditional Hatha style of yoga, this style involves a strong focus on alignment and form, with long holds of asanas (ave 1-5 mins) to increase the heartrate whilst improving focus, flexibility and strength. Since my training I have found that my teaching style often takes on a hatha-vinyasa fusion.
What types of students have you worked with?
Having been drawn to the power of healing in yoga, I have worked with students that have had, or currently have, different conditions/considerations; such as Parkinsons, scoliosis, PTSD, addiction, and many other injuries. I have worked with students of different ages and skill levels.
