To be able to have an outlet for your emotions, perfecting your discipline through music is a wonderful experience that lasts your whole life. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Voice lessons are recorded to ensure students know and understand and can remember what is learned. Music Theory is incorporated in the lessons. There are Recitals and competitions. Learning to read music and rhythm is stressed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a double degree in Voice and Piano. Degree is a Masters. I have played violin in the Rio Hondo youth and adult Symphony for 9 years. Studies have been in Europe and the U.S. Solo concert tours have been in Europe, Japan, New Zealand and the United States.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
half hour is $40. 45 min. lessons are $60 and hour lessons are $80. I purchase the music for the students and they are responsible for reimbursing the costs of the music.
How did you get started teaching?
I come from a musical family that traveled around and sang. Formal lessons started at age 4. My family are music professors and performers so it was a natural segue for me.
What types of students have you worked with?
My students include beginners to adults, collegiate, and professional.

I enjoy ajudicating and giving Master classes and encouraging my students to attend and participate in them whenever possible

Do they incorporate music theory. Do they have recitals and or showcases or competitions. Do they teach you how to read music and count. What styles of music do they cover.
