About
I have been playing guitar for 15 years. I've been trained in a variety of styles including blues, rock, and classical. I've earned my BA in music at Metropolitan State University of Denver. With my lessons, you will learn musicality, proper technique, music theory, and improvisation through a wide variety of excercises and activities.
I love teaching guitar because I love playing guitar. It's something special I want to share. I play music for music's sake, and it's pretty hard to describe what that's like until you give it a shot and find yourself lost in the music.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
In my first lesson, I try to figure out what the guitar student knows, what kind of music my student wants to play, and I try to figure out what kind of learner they are. We also dive right into things and learn a song in the first lesson.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received by Bachelor's at MSU Denver in Music where guitar was my primary instrument.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
30 minnutes - 40$
45 minutes - 50$
60 minutes -60$
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
An expert teacher is worth the investment even while just starting out. An expert teacher will build your skills and knowledge so that there are no ceilings, and so that you don't develop bad playing habits that become a lot harder to fix once you've grown used to them.
Also, you should leave your first lesson (and every lesson) feeling excited about playing.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What are your teacher's methods? How do those methods ensure improvement?
