Yoga High
About
Hi, I'm Amanda. I have been teaching yoga and meditation for 20 years, and I still find it fun, rewarding and meaningful.
I love working with seniors and injuries, and I love working with students who would like to make real changes in their bodies (generally pain relief or healing) or lives (finding more calm, peace, patience or joy).
I have traveled the world teaching, owned a yoga studio in Denver and a retreat center in the Bahamas, taught at festivals, corporations, gyms, in living rooms and on Mountain tops, even on paddle boards floating down a river in Hawaii. But you don't have to go anywhere to find the peace and ease of movement you want and deserve.
I live in central Denver now, settled with my husband, kids and dog, and I am happy to be settled and using my decades of experience to help people feel stronger and more flexible, more content and connected.
Working with me is fun and judgement-free. I will trust you to tell me what you feel, and together we will find what helps you feel better and what you are motivated to do in the time between our sessions. I use a lot of tools - wedges, straps, balls, rollers, walls, blankets, etc. I have studied with many biomechanists and physical therapists.
Reach out. I want to help, and if I can't, I might know someone who can. ; )
