Loveland Academy of Music is Loveland’s largest music school, with over 1,500 lessons taught each month. We teach a variety of styles, from classical to rock to popular music. The important thing is that you learn to play the music you love! Our teachers are patient, fun, and creative in their approach to teaching music lessons. They will teach you the fundamentals of sight reading, technique, improvisation, and music theory, all while incorporating your favorite songs into your lessons. We teach children, teens, and adults, and personalize each lesson to meet your goals.
Relationships are a key factor in learning music. We choose our instructors carefully, selecting those who are both experts in their field AND have warm personalities. They are patient and encouraging, and will support you in your dreams. We believe that a great teacher is also a great mentor and role model. We’ll get to know you personally, and help you use your passions to create music to share with your world!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We do not treat every student the same in terms of what and how we teach. Each student is a unique person with different goals, background, learning style, and more. We make it a priority to get to know you or your child personally and find out what you would like to learn in your lessons. A nine year old student starting music lessons for the first time will have a much different course of study than a forty-two year old who studied piano when they were younger. The goal of Loveland Academy of Music is to instill and foster a deep love of music, and to help you develop skills in a fun and interactive way so that you can start creating music on your own! You get to study the musical styles that YOU enjoy, in a format that helps you retain and move forward. Our mission is to find what makes you come alive!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our teachers have college degrees in music and/or extensive performance/teaching experience. We choose our instructors for their warm personalities, and their passion for music and teaching. Our teachers work well with both children and adults, and are dedicated to helping you to achieve your goals. They are friendly, patient, and strive to get to know each student and their parent on a personal level. Music is our passion, and we love sharing it with you. No two lessons are the same, because each one is centered around YOU! Our instructors will listen carefully to you and what you want to achieve, and then help you develop a plan to meet your goals. They work well with a wide array of youth and adult students with special abilities and challenges. Adaptive lessons are available for students with special needs. And with multiple teachers for each instrument, we have the right fit for your musical journey!

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
- 30-minute lesson = $32.50/week (monthly rate)
- 45-minute lesson = $48.75/week (monthly rate)
- 60-minute lesson = $65/week (monthly rate)
We invite all new students to schedule a time to tour our school and register. This time is used to get to know the student, find out their interests and skill level, register, and discuss a plan of action. There is a one-time registration fee of $30 (check or cash).
All charges are made with automatic electronic payments. Pre-authorized credit, pre-authorized debit, or auto draft are required. Your information will be kept private and secure. This system ensures efficiency, peace of mind for you, and one less thing you have to think about!
