I highly recommend Collin if you are looking for a private music teacher! We have run recitals and Rock Band Camps together and I’m always impressed by how skilled and passionate his students are. His secret sauce? Instead of a generic curriculum, he plans his lessons around each student and the type of music they enjoy. I highly recommend giving lessons with him a shot!

My middle school son loves taking lessons with Collin (drum and piano). Growing up taking music lessons this is exactly what I wished my music teacher would have done. Getting to learn the songs I liked listening to and still getting a great base knowledge of theory would have kept me much more engaged and excited to go to practice each week. We can’t recommend Collin enough!

Collin has been incredible for both my daughters. One is loud and unfocused, but walks into the music room and finds herself at home with Collin in front of the piano! The other can be hot or cold, but has hidden talent. Collin has been so accepting and flexible with her, and I am constantly impressed with his ability to connect with her.

On top of his skills keeping young students interested (my kids are lower elementary school), he has detailed yet sneaky teaching skills, and makes learning technical music fun and engaging! Even I have learned things, and I played the cello for a long time.

I cannot recommend Collin enough. His lessons are an extracurricular that is well worth the time and money. Your student will be hooked from the beginning, and you will have the opportunity to watch them grow and perform while beaming with pride. I highly encourage you to book now!

My 3 children have been receiving lessons from Collin for a few years now and I never cease to be amazed. He is fun and patient with the kids, and is always encouraging of their improvements and success, no matter how slight. One of my children has fine motor difficulties and has improved past needing out patient OT to assist him with hand and finger dexterity since beginning piano lessons with Collin. The kids could, and are encouraged to, bring any song imaginable to Collin to learn to play and he can pick out their instruments by ear and modify to their level. He is amazingly talented and the kids love his energy.

Collin is a fantastic teacher! He is clearly passionate about both music and people, and is a huge part of my own music journey. I learned drums and guitar from him, but there are so many other things I could learn from him as well!
