Holiday Special! The perfect gift for the holidays is music! Up until January 1, 2021, all lessons paid in advance are 25% off for all new students for up to 10 lessons! As always, the first 30 minute lesson is free!

Nothing is more satisfying than hearing yourself playing a song that moves and inspires you! With over 15 years of playing music I now pass on that knowledge to my students. Helping people learn music is both an amazing and invaluable experience. We will not only go over how to play the instrument but also music theory and how to write your own songs! I keep my lessons both fun and engaging. They are not just about drills and lesson plans but instead they are catered to the individual student and what they want to learn. Whether that be a particular playing style, song writing, soloing, a preferred genre or just to have fun playing your favorite songs, I cover it!

I take on students of all ages as it is never too late to pickup an instrument and start playing!

At the moment I am only taking online students but I take full advantage of Zoom and its great teaching tools to give the best experience I can for my students! I offer the first 30 minute lesson to students for free! After that I charge $30 for 30 minutes, $40 for 45 minutes and $50 for 60 minutes.

Dan has been absolutely wonderful to work with! He has been giving guitar lessons to my daughter for about 2 months, and she absolutely loves working with him! My daughter has an intellectual disability, so it hard for her to remain focused and she needs things broken down step by step. He has been incredibly patient with her, has taken the time to break things down for her, and has always been encouraging with her progress. It is apparent that he has been a teacher for over 20 years. He provides updates to me for each lesson about what my daughter should practice. He is able to work with any type of student, regardless of musical background or ability level. He is able to customize his instruction to meet their goals/needs. I have absolutely no reservations in recommending Dan to teach anyone how to play guitar!

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

We first start with a free 30 minute lesson to talk about the student's skill level and to figure out what they want to achieve in their music lessons. From there, if they are brand new to the instrument we start with the fundamentals and build towards the goals they want to achieve. If they already have some experience we then cater their lessons to follow the direction that will get them playing what they are looking to play.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been playing music for over 15 years and had taken private music lessons myself for about 10 of those years. In my free time I also study music theory, write songs and learn other instruments.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

I charge $30 for 30 minute lessons, $40 for 45 minutes and $50 for 60 minutes.

How did you get started teaching?

My own teacher suggested that I would be a good teacher and recommended I take students under my wing. I took his advice and I've been teaching ever since and left my old job to concentrate on teaching.
