I love when students find that with time and practice, they can change something in themselves, whether that be a new ability to hold a challenging yoga pose, or by creating a sense of calm for themselves using breath control. Yoga yoga can support you in your daily life, by teaching you about yourself and developing the discipline to make positive change.
Contentment, or Santosha, is one of the practices of yoga. Learning to be content with where you are, what you have, and what you can do, while at the same time, moving forward to the next level is an amazing way to live.
I have been practicing and teaching yoga for over 20 years. I first started teaching online during March of 2020, when so many of my friends from around the world were not able to leave their homes. Online yoga provided a place where we could focus and find comfort.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
For private lessons, I will learn about the student's goals and health to create a customized experience. I have worked with all ranges of ages, fitness levels and physical conditions.
My goal is to create a yoga plan with each of my student's personal needs, that will sustain them and support their growth.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance. My 200 hour certification is from Kripalu Center for Wellness and Health. I have continued to train in Yin, Chakra, and many other forms of yoga, as well as Pilates mat.
