About this pro

In my experience with yoga and personal training I learned that the majority of the population is in pain or is carrying a lot of stress, both mental and physical. I teach students how to create more space and less tension in the body with a focus on the breath, technique and proper alignment. My goal is to give the student the tools to help them learn how to move the body and relax the mind.

I truly enjoy helping people feel better. see them accomplish their goals, or simply create more peace in their lives through yoga and meditation. It's always a great day when I hear a student say, "I'm sleeping better. My body feels great. Or I never thought I'd be able to do that." Yoga has such a different impact on each one of my students and I'm just happy to be a part of that journey.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Firstly, I like to find out what your goals are and what you seek to achieve. From there I create tailor-made programs to help students learn more about their body and mind through yoga, meditation, and/or personal training.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

• NASM Certified Personal Trainer & Fitness Nutrition Specialization • 200-hour RYT Yoga Alliance Certified • NPC Bikini Competitor • Experienced in meditation techniques o Buddhist meditation techniques o Silva mind – which focuses on NLP o Transcendental Meditation • Reiki 1 & 2 practitioner

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

I single classes as well as packages for long-term clients.

How did you get started teaching?

After my own personal experiences in the positive aspects of creating my own healthy and yoga-based lifestyle, I wanted to guide others along the path of health and wellness.

What types of students have you worked with?

I’ve worked with both men and women ranging from ages 13-94, some living with various medical conditions and physical limitations.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

I just competed in my first NPC Bikini competition this past May. It was a goal of mine for a long time and I finally took the leap to push past my limiting beliefs, put in the work and get on stage. It was an amazing experience and I look forward to doing my second one at the end of this year.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

A lot of what I do is based around bringing individuals into a better place within themselves. When searching for someone in this line of work seek those who you feel you can learn from and who have achieved what you desired. Find an instructor that has the mental and physical qualities that you seek within yourself and that you can connect to their energy. At the end of the day a personal trainer or yoga/meditation instructor is your guide to a balance lifestyle.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

All customers/client should really understand what they are getting into. Yoga, meditation and personal training all require dedication and commitment in order to meet your goals. I promise you that your health, both physically and mentally, will improve through consistency and sweat. You will do it all with a smile on your face though. Some question you should consider asking yourself before finding a professional in this field are: • What are my strengths? • What are my challenges? • What makes me uncomfortable? • What helps you push past your sticking points? • Am I ready to commit to a lifestyle change? • Am I willing to put in the time and effort? • What is my main motivating factor to change my current lifestyle? • Am I willing to step outside my comfort zone in order to live the life I want? • Am I willing to make an investment in myself?
