Vinyasa yoga is a physical practice connecting the breath to the movement. This style of yoga is primarily focused on asana (physical postures) while synchronizing each movement to a matching inhale or exhale. Ujjayi breath is the most important aspect of the practice, teaching consciousness, focus, and calmness when challenged. With practice and discipline this style becomes a peaceful dance that is transformed into an effortless mediation.
Yoga is for every body every day. There is absolutely no limit for people interested in transforming their life through yoga. It is for all physical levels, ages, bodies, weights, heights, and abilities. Yoga is unique for each student that chooses to commit to the mat. There is no right or wrong, good or bad, it is intended to be a healing art and because of that it looks and feels differently for each individual practitioner.
Yoga is intended to be a daily practice. This cultivates a healthy and mindful life style while teaching patience, discipline, integrity, freedom, and happiness. This is unique to each student but what is most important is that each student connects to their body to understand what is needed. From there the needs of the body connect to the mind and spirit where each individual has the opportunity to become one, whole and complete.
