Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When teaching new students I first inquire about any current or past injuries. I am also curious about the level of yoga experience held by each student. The answers to these help me to be mindful of postures and movements I teach during the practice. This allows the student to feel the right amount of ease and challenge in each pose.

Bachelor's Degree in Psychology & 200- RYT

How did you get started teaching?
I came to yoga for health and wellness purposes. During my journey, the practice provided positive changes in my life that I desire to teach to others.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with Adults, children and teens.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Personally, when seeking a teacher to lead myself in the practice, I wanted to find someone with a deep love and appreciation of the practice. It is also important to seek a teacher who knows great ways to modify postures as well as someone who is able to challenge their students.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
The only question a student should reflect on before talking to teachers is " what is my purpose for exploring the practice of yoga". From there, the teacher can guide.
