About
I take time to personally get to know each of my clients, what they are hoping to achieve and looking at everyone from a holistic stand point. Most of my clients/students have some form of chronic condition or autoimmune condition, new to exercise and yoga, are on a spiritual journey or have a pain condition they are addressing. Since I have Lupus and Arthritis I am able to relate to them and can share what I have learned in my journey.
I will devise a plan for you and keep you motivated as well as educate you along the way with coaching, nutrition and exercise.
I am certified in many areas including Yoga, Personal Training, Life Coach, Minister and Reiki Master. I have been helping others on their journey in these realms for over 10 years and am blessed to be able to work in a field I love.
Having the opportunity to see a real change in my clients/students lives, physically, emotionally and spiritually. They empower me as much as I empower them. To be able to help someone in their journey is so rewarding. I love every minute of it.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to have a conversation with my students and see what experience they have and what we are addressing with our sessions. This helps me to understand how to gear our sessions and the areas of coaching they will need.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified as a Yoga Instructor, Personal Trainer, Weight Management, Reiki, Minister and Life Coach. I have worked in these fields for over 10 years as well as worked as a Medical Assistant for 25 years prior to that.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I provide 30 minute, 60 minute, and package deals for my pricing.
How did you get started teaching?
This just came naturally to me. I struggled with anorexia when I was in my teens and 20's. I Also have some autoimmune diseases, which at one point was debilitating. Through my own healing journey I found life again.
As my life was progressing others were asking me what I was doing to create this change. I wanted to help others on their journey so they would not have to do all the trial and error I did. I am thankful for learning all about food addiction, help with trauma, nutrition and yoga. I loved it and decided to become certified and help increase my knowledge and share this with others.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students that were beginners and intermediate. Most of my students have physical challenges. Some examples are students with arthritis, lupus, food addiction, trauma, cancer, back injuries and pain.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Share with your teacher/coach what you have experienced in the past, any concerns you have regarding your health and what you are looking to achieve. Being honest with your teacher/coach is the best way to be sure you are obtaining the proper training for you. Ask the teacher if they have personal experience or worked with students similiar to your needs.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Why are you wanting to change now? Is there an event coming up? Did something happen recently in their health to make them want to change?
What is their time frame allowed for each session.
What are a few main areas physically they want to address.
What are they afraid of in their new change?
