Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
The first lesson is $45. We spend 45 minutes as an intro lesson and then figure out where we go from there!
How did you get started teaching?
I have always been obsessed with ways of learning since I was a kid. It started wayyyyy back then! I learned HOW to learn. From there, I started codifiying a method on how to be the most effecient and effective teacher.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with beginners through advanced, up to famous people.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
This past summer I graduated 6 Univeristy students from my Portfolio program. I was very proud of them! I also just played at John Martin's Irish Pub in Coral Gables. Soooo much fun!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
You should look for someone who can really teach.....Someone who has a playing AND TEACHING pedigree. Very few teachers have devoted their lives to teaching because that's what they love. Find someone who has purposefully chosen that trade....a teacher who can teach as well as play!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Simple! They should just pinpoint what they want and convey that directly to the teacher. An experienced teacher will be able to take that information and and develop good lesson plans!
