About this pro

My life has been dedicated to martial arts and fitness. I have been competing in mixed martial arts for 10 years and have been training at the best gyms in the world for the last 5 years. I have competed in the UFC and Bellator, and was a finalist on UFCs "the ultimate fighter". I am passionate about fitness and empowering people with the ability to defend themselves. I've been teaching for 5 years and training as a full time fighter for the last 7. I train people from your average joe, women, and competitive martial artist. There are a lot of fake martial artists out there so I encourage you to do your research on an instructor.

Matt is a very knowledgeable trainer. He's very friendly and is very specific towards your goals. Definetly recommend

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

First, I evaluate the students goals and we come up with a plan to achieve them

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been doing martial arts for over 13 years and have trained full time for the last 7 years. I have been training on the best competitive mma teams for the last 5 years.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

I usually try to do package deals. Single sessions at a time are $70 an hour. If you buy 5 up front, the price drops to $65. If you buy 10 up front, the price drops to $60 an hr. I do split plans as well. Bring a friend and it's $120 an hr which you two can split.

How did you get started teaching?

I started teaching to make money on the side while I focused on comoeteing as a professional

What types of students have you worked with?

Men and women completely inexperienced in martial arts to amateur and pros

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

So your research. Find out who they trained u see for how long and do your best to confirm it. You can just Google me lol.
