What motivates me and the main reason I enjoy being a trainer/coach is I get the opportunity to create training programs that help athletes and active individuals train to become stronger and more resilient, Which helps decrease their chance of injury and improve their mobility, flexibility, and performance.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I perform a movement, flexibility and mobility assessment, and strength assessment. Then I creat a custom sports specific training program for the athlete, which is updated and changed every 6-8 weeks depending on the time the athlete has available to train.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a B.S. in Sports Management with a focus on fitness and wellness.
I am a certified personal trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association I am a Level 1 Sports Performance coach through USAW and TPI LEVEL 1 Certified to train golfers
I have had the opportunity to train under several high-level Strength coaches on the college and professional level over the past 25 years.
I was a high school football coach for 4 years
The football skills training program focuses primarily on Defensive and Offensive linemen.

I offer a single session rate starting at $185 per session.

How did you get started teaching?
I decided to begin my journey as a trainer and coach 4 years after I retired as a professional athlete, with the goal of helping people improve their health and performance.
I have been involved in sports my whole life. I have been a professional coach/trainer for 11 years and a college/professional athlete for over 35 years.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have trained athletes of all levels and active adults that want to become stronger more resistant individuals.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
There is no one event that I am fond of. What I enjoy about what I do is seeing individuals improve their physical performance and push themselves beyond what they assumed they could do, gaining the confidence and grit live and perform at a high level.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure you have a plan of action before you hire a trainer. A great trainer is one how listens and integrates your plan of action into the training program that will give the best results.
