I am mostly self taught so I focus on a practical approach to learning both Guitar and Music Theory. I have a lot of experience playing, performing anc composing which directly feeds into my teachings.
My main line of work is engineering, not teaching. However, I do enjoy teaching very much, especially when it comes to music.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I like to get to know the student a little bit. I like to talk about their goals, and any relevant background/experience.
I will usually not create/schedule a lesson plan right away, but I will probably start off with two or three basic lessons and guage the new student's level and pace then work to create a plan from there.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am not a formally trained or educated musician/guitarist.
I did start out learning classical guitar at a conservatory, but discovered that it did not suit my pace or interests and decided to self teach myself and learn from actual musicians and performing guitarists.
