Go In Flux Yoga | Pilates

Gabriela has a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts with an emphasis in Photography, has worked as a yoga, pilates and fitness instructor for about six years, has been working as a chiropractic assistant alongside patients involved in motor vehicle crashes and is currently enrolling in kinesiology school at the University of Central Florida in the fall of 2020. This variety in experience enables her to work with a wide scope of clients, ranging from the recently injured to the fitness aficionado.

Gabriela Ortiz has been practicing yoga and pilates for about seven years now. She is a graduate from Red Sun Yoga's 200 hour teacher training and has participated in numerous alignment workshops under the Anusara school of Yoga as well. Her teahing style fosters introspection and deep relaxation through a vigorous Asana practice followed by extended Savasana and Yoga Nidra tecniques.

Gabriela has also completed IM=X's Reformer and Matwork modules, a pilates program intented to elongate, stabilize and correct the body's response to injuries, postural habits and other conditions. The program can also be tailored for the more athletic practitioner, providing the student with challenging sequences that will strengthen the muscles layered deep within the body, elevate cardiovascular fitness and tone in a safe, fun environment. Please note: classes in the reformer will be offered at the IM=X Pilates & Fitness located in Lake Nona. However, if you already have a reformer available to you, I can absolutely adapt to the one you have already

I really enjoy seeing people progress and feel more secure with themselves and the way their body moves. Physical fitness to me is beyond aesthetics, but more so about functionality, efficiency, awareness and happiness. To instruct is to learn as well and I consider myself to be truly blessed to exchange knowledge with my students.
