Every body is different, every practice is different. I want to get to know my students on a personal level. Their goals, their strenthgs, their weaknesses. I want to bring those all together to create a practice that is right for them and to achieve the results they are looking for as well as create an overall healtheir lifestyle.
Yoga is my passion. It has helped me physically, emotionally, spiritually, and mentally. I recoverd from an ACL tear with yoga and physical therapy alone. I believe the human body is an extraordinary instrument and can heal itself if given the proper tools. I enjoy that i am able to see the physical results of this practice with my students. To see their goals in poses they want to achieve, building strength in their practice, and being the one guiding them along the way.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I would like to meet with the students and get to know their personal goals, what they want to achieve, and the results they are looking for. If there is anything in particular that they want to work on i/e: poses,stretches, breathing, meditation.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been practicing Yoga for over five years and teaching for about a year. I have a level 1 certification in Hatha Yoga. I also I also am CPR/AED certified with the American Heart Association.
