What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I assess the skill level of the student and try to incorporate songs and styles preferred by the student to insure fun practice while playing teaching the fundamentals of the guitar.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Over 20 years teaching experience as a full time guitar instructor. Music performance degree.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

How did you get started teaching?
I began teaching while earning my degre and found I have a special ability to help others understand the guitar.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have taught students from 5 years old to adults in retirement.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I am fond of watching students grow from their first few chords to performance. I have had a few students persue a career in music and teaching themselves!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find a patient, experienced, full time, professional instructor that knows how to set goals and work with you at a comfortable pace for you to learn guitar.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Think about your stylistic preferences as well as short term and long term goals.
