Then, at the first lesson, valuable time can be better spent delving into the basics, developing skills, and beginning to build a solid foundation.A guitar lesson with me might entail the following: I prefer for the student to arrive slightly early and warm up before the lesson, so I can maximize instruction time. Once warmed up, I typically work with the student on theory and technique for the first part of the lesson. Following this, I focus on helping the student apply the concepts in learning songs that interest the student.
