Learning to play an instrument can be challenging and frustrating yet playing the music we love keeps us focused and determined as we progress. I work to discover my students' favorite music, skill level and musical goals and then cater my approach to each individually.
Music is my passion and I love sharing in that joy with dedicated and upcoming artists. Helping someone develop the technical skills to express themselves through music is an absolute thrill.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
It's important to get to know one another, at first. Explore some music together, evaluate the student's current skill level and discuss our goals. After this we can make a plan and get to work.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a musician for 25 years, professional for 10, and also pro audio engineer (live and in the studio).
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My lessons are $35/hr. This covers an hour face-to-face (or virtual) and my planning time to prepare each lesson. This does not include travel expenses as that would be determined on a per student basis.
