Catherine is certified as a Suzuki violin and viola teacher. She earned a Bachelors and Masters degree from the Manhattan School of Music and has performed in many great venues such as Carnegie Hall, Park Avenue Armory, Nike, among others. She has performed as a freelance violinist and violist in New York City from 2009-2020 and moved to Duluth, GA to be closer to family during the COVID-19 crisis.
Music is a profession passed down in Catherine’s family for many generations, and she enjoys passing down the appreciation and joy that music gives to her students.

How did you get started teaching?
The Manhattan School of Music career development office is where I got my first few students. From there, most of my students came from online marketing.
What types of students have you worked with?
Ages 4 and up. I've also worked with autistic students.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I'm a fan of Lindsey Stirling and enjoy seeing her live performances. I also enjoy street performing many of her songs with choreography, as well as other pop and classical.
