I give comprehensible lessons for guitarists at any level. Along with techniques to become more skillfully crafted at guitar, I aslo provide music theory lessons to help students fully understand why they play the things they do on guitar and to get a better grasp on how to write their own music.
I enjoy seeing the inspiration that comes out of it when a light goes off in the students head and they start to get it. It’s very fulfilling getting to see someone become really good at what they do, and to know that you helped them get to their goal.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to sit down and talk about what it is they’re wanting to achieve with guitar, and then I start making a lesson plan that will best suit them specifically.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve been a guitarist for 11 years. I received an associates degree from the Atlanta Institute of Music for music and technology with guitar focus and I’ve been teaching guitar for 4 years. I also perform as a work for hire guitarist for corporate or private events.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Typically I charge 40 dollars an hour to teach lessons but if I have to travel to the student the price goes up, depending on how far I have to drive. And for online lessons I charge 30 dollars an hour.
How did you get started teaching?
By playing music with others and learning that I have a skill for showing people things on guitar and explaining it clearly to where everyone can understand what’s happening.
