Val’s lessons about theory and production are simply amazing. Someone can have all the knowledge in the world but it doesn’t mean absolutely anything as a teacher if you don’t have a good way of teaching things and explaining them for ppl to understand. Val does just that. He has created his own methods to use brilliant metaphors to make someone understand things way faster and easier. Makes the whole process a lot more fun and productive!!

Val’s lessons have been amazing! I’ve learned so much after he taught me the 7 kart train system pertaining to modes and scales. An entire batch of doors opened up for me every since I starred taking lessons and learning theory. It’s amazing to be able to solo and improvise in any key using any scale! Thank you, Val! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

I started taking Bass lessons from Val about a month ago. I was in such a rut and writers block that I didn’t know what to do with my playing anymore. I don’t have a band nowadays and don’t have the easy task of following any rhythm lines like I did before. I couldn’t believe that I talked myself into doing lessons... My technique is pretty good and I just needed direction musically. Val immediately showed me the “7 Kart Train System” when it comes to learning the 7 Diatonic Modes/ Scales with the Major scale as the parent/ blue print. Since I play a 4 string bass, the box shapes and scales are much shorter and easier to learn. I am now able to use undertones to hear individual modes’ tonalities and what kind of emotion they portray. My writing has been freed up to where I will never again follow the bottom end section of the band (rhythm guitar, bass drum) & I can now write much more intricate bass lines and ideas. Thank you so much Val, for opening up my mind to a whole new level of music! With this knowledge of theory I was able to branch out and learn other “7 Scale Kart Systems” like Harmonic and Melodic Minor & even Dimished! 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

“Val is very knowledgeable and very informative in his teaching. Before I started taking his lessons, I had no clue what music theory was, nor where to start with improvising a guitar solo. I’m still learning both of those, but I certainly know more about those subjects now, thanks to Val.”

If you want to learn your scales, arpeggios, music theory and how to shred in general, this is hands down one of the best lead guitarists in the state of Georgia. The guy can literally do and play anything. I have never been happier or more content in my life as far as guitar playing goes on the subject of taking lessons from Val. Highly recommended! 👌🏼👌🏼

    Frequently asked questions

Finding out what the student knows about what they want to learn so far. Figuring out what level they're at on said subject of choice so we can start at the perfect place for progression & growth in the craft and where they want to take it directionally as far as progress is concerned!

I have been playing guitar professionally for 11 years with many genres. Teaching for 15 years. Playing in general for 19 years in total. I've toured dozens of countries worldwide internationally & locally with my signed band Theocracy as the lead guitarist since 2009! (Ulterium Records) 💿 💿 💿

The rate is $40 an hour and you pay by the batch of lessons with a minimum of 4 hrs. If you only get 2 hrs it's $45 an hr. The higher you go the more free time you get basically.

    2 hrs - $90

    4 hrs - $160

    6 hrs - $200

    9 hrs - $300

(I also give away $2000+ worth of software that is licensed to me for the longer hour batches for new students. Including the DAW's like (FL Studio 20.5 & Mixcraft 9) and many other plugins like (EZ Drummer 2, Line 6 Helix Native, Ozone, Massive, Reaktor, Kontakt, Acoustica Beatcraft & just about any other VST/ Standalone you can imagine!) I also have thousands of samples for drums, sounds and etc!

⚠️ There is no time limit for how fast you have to complete the longer hours as long as it doesn't go longer than 5 - 6 weeks. Lessons can be as long or as short as you want and can be done multiple times a week! Availability is flexible every day of the week! 👍🏼⚠️

I started learning music theory in 2006 and decided to share the knowledge with others! That took me down a path of teaching others and expanding my knowledge drastically in a lot of different ways, genres & instruments!

All ages, genders and levels from everywhere in the world. Skype has its privileges! 😏

I played a show on the main stage with my band Theocracy called Prog Power USA in Center Stage Atlanta (aka EarthLink Live!) It has been a long time dream of mine! It was an amazing show & I couldn't have asked for a better experience! 🤘🏼

Make sure the teacher is a perfect fit for what you want to do and make sure you're not wasting the teachers time and is something you really want to do!

Ask themselves what their ultimate goal is and where they want to be 6 months down the road with their music studies! What they want to get out of the lessons and what they are ultimately interested in!
