Hi – my name is Drew Davidsen. I am an award-winning Billboard Chart topping Guitar Player/Singer – Songwriter. I am also a highly effective personal development coach.
I have a unique approach to teaching people how to play the kind of guitar they want to play. Whether you're a beginner, an intermediate guitar player looking to learn new soloing techniques, or a more experienced guitar player who wants to explore new worlds I'm your guy!
I love helping people be great!
I love helping people. I love serving others! I enjoy seeing a student have a lightbulb moment where they discover something new... It's a joy to teach others and help them grow...

First, I need to discover what you already know. Then we would have a conversation about the kind and style of guitar that speaks to you. And where you want to go with your guitar playing... What is your end goal?
Now we can devise a plan together to get you there.
My lessons always have two main sections. During the first part of the lesson we review the fundamentals. And we work with a Metronome. And we work on all the basic fingering patterns and exercises.
During the second part of the lesson we begin to work on esr training. This is a very important aspect of my lesson structure.
and all this happens inside of the context of having fun and having you discovering how to play the guitar in a way you never knew that you could.
I have been playing guitar professionally for 35 years. My fifth album "TRUE DREW" was endorsed by George Benson. I have scored five Billboard singles in contemporary jazz guitar including a top 10 with "Spin Cycle." After achieving this I then scored a number one pop single "OUT OF THE BLUE" as reported by the euro top 200 chart. I've also been awarded guitar player magazine's top 10 hottest new guitarist in their readers polls.
My lessons are $50 an hour. And if I have to drive more than 15 miles it's $60 an hour.
Friends of mine in my community wanted to learn and asked me could I teach them. And I said yes! this was at least 25 years ago. And I've been doing it ever since!
I have worked with students as young as 5?years old up to 85 years old.
I am really excited about my new record charting on college radio. The record is called "It's Time."
The student teacher relationship is very particular. Trust yourself. If you are inspired by a particular guitar teacher that you see go for it! In the end whatever teacher you have you must be willing to do the work. Nothing will happen for you if you're not willing to do the work.
I would get clear on exactly what kind of guitar playing you want to learn. And where you want to go in the next 12 months. And if you're not sure then come with an open mind willing to explore what's possible.
