What is your typical process for working with a new student?

When working with potential new students I liked to gage their interest , reasons and overall goals for particpating and working with an instructor and also perform an assesment. Secondly I devised a plan of service or action that can be realistically implemented that can be mutually agreed upon pursuant to the goals and expectations of the client.Finally once the above mentioned is agreed upon the logistics, legalities and associated fees are arranged and negotiated.

USA Boxing Licensed Referee/Coach.

How did you get started teaching?

I started working with local amatuers in the midwest while working different showcase events as a official.


What types of students have you worked with?

I have had the honor of working with students ranging from beginners , novices, open divisions and master's in USA Boxing amatuer system. Also I've worked with Professional fighters from all  over the world and students who mainly had fitness goals.


Describe a recent event you are fond of.

The introduction of mandatory performance enhancing drug testing in the sport of Boxing.


What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

I would  recommend that a student properly vett and hire a teacher that is fully conducive to their objectives and desires.


What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

1. What are my goals and objectives.

2. What is my commitment level.

3. How well do I respond to adversity ?

4. What type of instructor is best for me considering my personality.
