FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

They would start by coming in for an Introductory Class.  This is a 15-20 minute private lesson to over some of the basics, so they will know what to expect when they come into class.  At that time we will also do an evaluation on their focus, flexibility, and coordination to see which classes and program will be the best fit for them.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a 5th degree Black Belt in Taekwondo.  I have a Blue Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.  I have been training the martial arts over 20 years.  I have been a certified fitness professional for over 25 years.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

It would depend on the program.

How did you get started teaching?

I started teaching fitness at the place I was working out at.  From there I started martial arts and they asked me to run their Cardio Kickboxing Program.

What types of students have you worked with?

All ages from 3 years old and up.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Make sure you feel comfortable with them and they can help you reach your goals.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Why do you want to do this?  What are you looking to get out of the program?
