I attended DePaul's school of music as a young man, and i studied with a master vocalist Alma Balier. I have had students from time to time, throughout my career.

How did you get started teaching?

Others singers asked questions about my singing, with greater and greater frequency. Eventually i received requests for formal study.

Mostly adulys, but occassionaly some gifted teens.

Discovery of physical vocal control by students. 


What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Make sure you are commited to the work you will be required to do, to take advantage of what your yeacher has to offer.
