Chicago Martial Arts has been serving the greater Chicago community since 1999. CMA was founded by William Lee, a Tae Kwon Do Master and U.S. Navy veteran, skilled in both Tae Kwon Do and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He is a well-respected leader in the Chicago Martial Arts community and has trained hundreds of Black Belts over the last 19 years.

Master Lee’s commitment to serving families is unsurpassed. The Little Ninjas program starts with children as young as three-years old. Tae Kwon Do classes are available for age 3 and up and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is available for age 10 and up. This is more than a kicking and punching school. CMA stresses life skills and has a strong commitment to anti-bullying. Self-defense classes for women are also available.

CMA’s friendly staff is available for group and private lessons. CMA’s clean and fully staffed facility has free parking and free Wi-Fi. Stop by for a tour and free trial week.

Frequently asked questions

We work with children as young as 3 years old.  Our 3-6 years we like to assest them first before suggesting a class for them. We offer all new member to try our acdamey for a week free.

Master William Lee is a well-respected leader in the Chicago Martial Arts community.  He founded Chicago Martial Arts in 1999 and has trained hundreds of Black Belts over the past 19 years.  

Master Lee holds a 6th Degree Dan Black Belt from the World Taekwondo Federation, a 2nd Degree Black Belt from the International Kendo Federation, a 1st Degree Black Belt from the World Hapkido Federation, and a Purple Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Born in South Korea, Master Lee emigrated to the United States as a young boy.  He served in the U.S. Navy and is a Gulf War veteran.  He lives in Skokie with his wife and two children, both of whom are TKD Black Belts.  In his spare time, he enjoys snowboarding and skateboarding

TaeKwonDo - $149.00 per month

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu - $120 per month

There is a one-time membership fee for all new Little Ninja's and TaeKwonDo students (includes uniform).
