Marco Villarreal starting teaching and playing professionally in 1989. He attended Musician's Institute and Berklee College of Music. Some of his teachers include Fareed Haque, Pat Martino, Mick Goodrick among others. He currently teaches and performs in Chicago and Northwest Indiana.
