One of a kind!!! If you really want to learn how to play guitar, whatever your style, Dale at Woodshed Music is the real deal. My ability to play guitar and knowledge of theory has exploded exponentially in the last 6-months. I have accomplished what I thought was impossible, that is learning to play my guitar by ear and improvising. If your serious about learning to play, look no further.....

I went back and forth with a few teachers when I was starting to learn guitar, but none of them really clicked. I found Dale when I was in 5th grade, and since then he has guided, challenged, and encouraged me to dig deeply into the music I love. I’m currently studying music at dream school, North Texas, and I can’t imagine where I’d be now if I hadn’t had Dale’s help in my musical growth. If you do the math, I’ve been with Dale for 10 years now, half my life. And when I’m home from school, I still go see him for lessons. I still have a long time before I catch up to him as a player, but he’s helped me realize what I’m capable of.

I really enjoy the atmosphere that Dale creates at Woodshed. He does a great job of explaining the theory while making it fun when jamming! I’ve been taking lessons for 7 years and look forward to every weekly lesson!

Dale teaches music, not just songs. With what I’ve learned in two years, I can play and do things on the guitar I never dreamsd possible after 10 years of classical guitar.
He opened a new world of playing and listening.
