I put my student as a person first and a musician as a close second. The relationship between a student and teacher can be one of the most valuable experiences of life which is why I want to know you. I also have experience playing a vast array of music from jazz to pop to R&B to rock and many styles inbetween. I have played and lead many swing bands, blues bands, rock bands, gospel and bluegrass groups. I play with singer/songwriters, musical theater productions, orchestras, and choirs. There has been an amazing amount of people/musicans that have directly mentored, taught, and raised me. I love to teach so I can do that for others and encourage others to grow their music, craft, and career. Whether you've never touched an intrument in your life or have been strumming for 60 years, I'd love to meet you where you are and work on some music together.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to get to know my students by finding out what music they listen to or play, and then help the student find long term and short term goals. After that, we will be able to really get cracking.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been playing guitar and various instruments with talented musicians for ten years. I've taken private lessons from a large handful of teachers/players and studied my Bachelor's of Music in Jazz Performance at The New England Conservatory of Music.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $25 for a half hour and will teach between 30-60 minute lessons online or in person.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've been able work with students from four years old to 75 year olds. I love that we can start playing music at any age and encourage everyone to put a little music in their life.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find someone that you can connect with that motivates you to keep playing!
