About
My name is Jordan Chase. I have been in music my entire life. I have a 4 year history in the concert band as a percussionist and Section Leader and over 15 years of experience as a guitarist. I have toured the south, midwest, and eastcoast, I have done numerous recordings, music videos, live recordings, and I have performed and recorded in over 5 different genres of music. I am a full time working Guitarist and Music Director. I teach knowledge of the guitar, ear training, theory(the Nashville number system, etc.), performance, how to be a recording musician, Music Director, Self Networking, and music history. You will be ready to go entertain a crowd of 10,000 or just yourself in the house. I am a true music lover and want to pass that on to anyone who wants to learn.
I love creating music and performing for crowds of all sizes. Music really has the power to lift people's spirits.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I give an introductory class. This gives me a chance to assess where the student is, on their journey to guitar. So this involves for example, identifying where the notes on the neck are, What makes a major chord?, what makes a minor chord?, the nashville number system, etc.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have recording experiece, I have done plays involving reading music, I have performed country, jazz, gospel, rock, hip hop, top 40, r&b, bachata, merengue, and much more. I give guitar clinics, and have been teaching for 6 years. I also take methods from.my guitsr classes in high school and infuse them with mine.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Yes I do. I always charge a 4 lesson minimum and I do 1 hour lessons for adults and half hour lessons fro children 11 years old and younger. I offer skype lessons at a slight discount of the regular rate.
How did you get started teaching?
I've always been a teacher at heart. I taught parts in school and iy followed me. I gave my first guitar lesson 8 years ago and stopped for 2 years and came back to it. A customer at a previous job heard me play and asked if I would teach her son.
