About
I am an Edutainer that Primarily focuses on Serving the LGBTQ+ Community, as well as providing learning opportunities for those that want to focus more on the Arts/Entertainment industry, while being in underserved areas. My goal is to make these opportunities as accessible as possible. From General Fitness, to Vocal training, to Dancing, to Beginning Circus Arts, and Beyond! I look forward to helping you learn something new.
I love being able to provide practical and simplified approaches to Learning. This approach also allows many participants a chance to come to their own conclusions in the learning process. While this means that our sessions have the ability to taper off, this does allow you a chance to see if you want to commit further on your journey, while keeping the process cost efficient for all of us.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When I take on clients looking into a new adventure, I want to make sure that I'm able to understand the why. This helps us to make sure we stay on track with our goal setting to make impossibilities become tangible realities.
this also helps us find alternative options to reach the same goal. because there is ALWAYS more than one way to get to a finish line.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
While somethings can't be shown on paper, they can be shown through experience. Since 2012, I have been certified as a group fitness instructor and personal trainer under AFAA. I have held other specialty formats(Zumba/Aqua/Beachbody) over time and have started creating my own formats in the fitness realm to focus more on mobility impairments and activations. I've always been of the mindset that you can still help yourself grow.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I do my best to scale payments based on how much work I have to put in, not the other way around.
People who learn from me will always have a time based approach, so each session(New clients also) is 1.5 hours. this allows time for review of previous lessons, learning of new items/reinforcing items, and reflection of the days lesson/evaluation of current goals. Also, New clients get the first session at a fraction of the cost since its more of an evaluation session. We want to make sure we can be compatible and still learn from each other.
How did you get started teaching?
I was an obnoxious person who was always passionate about sharing what ive learned. some people liked what I did, others hated it. I mean HATED it. I would have the instructor come up to me after class to tell me why i needed to "calm down". Those moments gave me a chance to either quit what i enjoyed, or find another way. I chose to foster my own growth by allowing others a chance to do the same. thats why i wanted to teach.
What types of students have you worked with?
Most of my students have been teenagers and young adults. I enjoy this range to work with because people are still discovering what makes them hapy or what inspires them. Even adults "going through a midlife crisis" are great to work with because even as we try to live as adults, we still need something that gives us hope, peace, sanctuary, and clarity. Also, Adults will say whats on their mind which makes it MUCH easier to help adjust plans of action and course correction.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find someone who has passion. When I talk with my clients/students, I want them to feel excited about what they are doing and I want them to know why it makes them feel that way. Having passion with that hobby or project means that you're ALWAYS willing to learn something new and completely different.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
'Why'. always ask why. most people hate this question because it forces people to explain something they feel they shouldnt have to. I love explaining why i do what I do. Even if its something scary and i want to overcome that fear. i still know why. If you don't know why, or if your instructor doesnt know why, it can make things more complicated than it needs to be.
Also, "How". How does this help me? How can I tell its working? How do I fix it? How to i get started? It's
