My teaching approach:
Learn to play guitar or bass with Ben Connelly, a teacher who loves to share the joy of making music, whose goal is to help you play the music you love by learning great songs. Lessons are for all ages and levels of ability, this includes total beginners. Ben's students range from 6 to 60, some play just at home and some play First Avenue. Learn songs in the style that inspires you with a teacher who has performed professionally and taught Rock (50's-today), Folk, Blues, Country, Jazz and many other styles.
My influences are:
I am more interested in what motivates and excites my students when I'm teaching than in my own musical influences which range from alternative rock, folk, classic rock, classical, jazz, music from all over the world, ska, funk, country... I love music.
