My teaching approach:

You'll be playing your favorite popular songs within a few short lessons. Learning to play the guitar is about having fun and making music and that is what you will get in taking lessons at Six String Studios. Multiple lesson formats are available to accommodate all levels of commitment and budget. Enrollment includes many extras that you wont find with any other teacher. I'm offering a free 1⁄2 hour consultation to see if your needs match the methods I use to teach my students.

Lessons are taught Monday through Friday 6-9pm and Saturdays 8:30am- Noon

Lead guitar, Rhythm guitar, Improvisation, Music Theory, Scales and Exercises, Song Writing, Guidance In Equipment Selection

During my FREE 1/2 hour consultation, we will discuss your goals and what you want to achieve in your guitar playing. We will also discuss the types of music you are interested in playing. Finally we will discuss my lesson policies and a bit about how I teach. From that, we should know if we are a good fit and what lesson program format will work best for you.

I use popular songs, riffs and licks so that you have a practical application for the things you are learning. Learn the key concepts, techniques and skills in playing the guitar by using the songs you know and love. Contact for more info to learn about the different lesson options available.

My ideal guitar student is one that is passionate about learning to play the guitar. They should be disciplined in their practice, dedicated, respectful and eager to learn. I encourage open communication as the lesson is really about the student and their goals for the guitar. It is a relaxed environment that is about fun and learning the guitar.
