About
I am a part of multiple musical groups ranging from folk, new Americana, reggae and blues, to blue grass and punk and even hiphop production and writing. I've been playing guitar for over 12 years and violin for even longer. I write and compose all of my own music and want to share this gift with others who have the same desire.
Music is one of the most beautiful, free forms of expression, and the emotion that comes with being so enveloped in sound that all external energy is blocked out is an unmatchable feeling. This is why music therapy is such an exciting way to invigorate people going through a difficult time.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I normally like to play some tunes with the student for the first lesson and get a good understanding of the level of musicianship and the best route to take when learning. I then work with the student on understanding chord structures and scales. Working through the basis of songwriting, and what it takes to put together a well composed song.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied violin and guitar for most of my youth taking lessons and classes. I've been actively playing with different groups and bands for over 8 years now and continuing to grow.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$25/ half hr and $40/hr ....after an hour I feel retention is lost and is hard to progress further. It's good to have material for the student to learn on their own time.
