I've taught students of all ages and have played in many local groups throughout the years. Also a graduate from the University of the Arts with a Bachelor of Music. I teach bass from beginning-advanced and guitar from beginning-intermediate.

Generally I like to see where a student is at on the first lesson and then I can make some recommendations from there.

A guitar lesson with me might entail the following:

The student will have an assigned lesson during the week. I want the student to build upon what they're learning and also have fun too. After going over the lesson we can go on to newer material or review previous lesson if needed.

The qualities I look for in an ideal guitar student might include the following:
