Your source for music education in South Jersey My experience with the Mount Laurel School of Music has been wonderful. The atmosphere is relaxed, friendly and family like and the staff works especially well with young children. I was very impressed with how they incorporate computer learning with their private lesson programs. They also offer discounts for families with two or more children taking lessons so that has saved me some money. They also offer recitals in the spring and small concerts at bookstores and coffeehouses throughout the the year to showcase their students. It is great to find a school that is so focused on passing the art of music on to the next generation without all the hype or formality that you usually get from music stores and traditional private lesson teachers. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for lessons.

Most of the teachers have degrees in music education (plus a minimum of 3 years of working on a one-on-one basis with both children and adult students) coupled with performance experience.
