First I find out from the student or the parent what their goals are and then I base the lessons around what they are looking to achieve. I always strive to ensure lessons are fun, informative and progress the students own interests.

I studied classical guitar and audio engineering at William Paterson University and have taught both privately and in music shops around northern New Jersey since the early 2000's. I am an active musician, songwriter, guitarist and music producer. 

I charge $70 for a 1 hour lesson & $40 for a 30 minute lesson.

Early on in high school I had began teaching both friends and acquaintances alike casually, and then in college I had been entertaining the idea of giving guitar lessons between my college classes. One day I stopped into Sam Ash Music on Rt. 4 in Paramus, sat down to play, an employee heard me playing and asked if I gave guitar lessons. From there began my private teaching journey and word of mouth spread. Before I knew it I had students all over northern New Jersey that I taught privately and in music shops. 

I have taught students of all ages and abilities. As young as 6 all the way up to folks in their early 70's. From beginners to intermediate players which make up the majority of the students I teach. 

Being able to get back to playing gigs and teaching in person again.

Look for a teacher that is enthusiastic about music, their instrument and teaching in general. It's crucial to connect with a student & create a positive learning environment.
