Yuri is a very thorough teacher, he knows a lot about functional harmony, arranging, and composing, and is very good at communicating his knowledge. He also is able to pinpoint the knowledge that is most necessary to you at the point youre in, and give you that first, rather than spend endless time teaching you stuff you already know or might not be able to use immediately.
