What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I usually try to check what is his/her musical background and figure out the issues he/she has with the instrument or particular musical concepts. Also I try to set up short, mid and long term goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have conservatory degree in Italy and also a Master in Jazz Performance from New York University as a Fulbright fellowship recipient.
How did you get started teaching?
First privately then in music schools and conservatory and also New York University.
What types of students have you worked with?
All kind of ages and levels.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for someone that listen to your specific needs rather than a teacher that gives you random and generic excercises.
