Nara Avetisyan

My name is Nara. I am a performing pianist and teacher from NY area. I just moved to Florida.

I have performed in many European and American cities, including concerts in Severance Hall and Carnegie Hall.

I teach children and adults of all ages in person and online.

I teach not only from the traditional method books, but I also find pieces, technical exercises, theory homework, specifically addressed to each student’s needs.

I speak Armenian, Russian and English. I have 8 years of teaching experience in schools and privately. My method of teaching may be considered strict for some, however I believe, that any good result comes from a passionate teacher and a passionate student.

I hold two Bachelor degrees - one from Yerevan State Conservatory, another one from Cleveland Institute of Music, where I also continued to get double master degree in solo and collaborative piano performance.

Learning piano is important for any person, especially the children, since it develops discipline, coordination, ambidexterity, sight-reading skills and confidence in performing.
