
Yejin Han Piano Studio
About
Yejin Han is a South Korean born American pianist who has earned her Master of Music degree in Piano Performance from Louisiana State University and has studied for her Artist Diploma at Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. As a pianist she has performed countless recitals and chamber music and has appeared numerous times as a soloist with orchestras throughout the US. Almost 20 years of her teaching career, she has dedicated her time and skills toward sharing her passion for music with others as a teacher. Through these efforts Ms. Han has become a well-renowned piano teacher in the region.
Winning several piano competitions while growing up, Ms. Han believes anyone can become a great pianist, regardless their talents if they put their mind to it. This philosophy is what drives her to continuously develop new drills to help her students to improve their skills and artistry of keyboard playingTo support her beliefs, she has two grand pianos in her studio for teaching and the one her students use is Steinway model B, semi- concert grand, so her students can prepare for concert halls like Carnegie Hall or Lincoln Ceneter or prepare for piano competitions.
Students of Ms. Han has won competitions every year and as a result, she has received awards as a excellent teacher awards in year 2015 and 2016 and also has been actively involved in musical communities, and as a result, she has received the recognition letter from the Cincinnati Councilman, Chris Monzel in 2008; received the Certification of the Master Teacher from the committees of World Piano Competition in 2009; and has served as the Chairperson for the World Piano Competition Regional in Cincinnati, Ohio in 2011.
Ms. Han is currently a member of American Music Teachers National Association and her studio is located in Bergen County, New Jersey.
