I Will Give Professional Online Violin Lessons To All Levels
About
Hi!
My name is Tessa. As a violinist, I've been touring around the world for many years and in terms of teaching, I believe that giving each student eliable and effective methods to improve in all areas is very important. My goal is to set up beginners with a strong foundational technique, and I will provide completely personalized lessons for all students depending on their needs.
I will give a free 20mins trial lesson just to meet the students and have a little talk, perhaps play a little bit just to see what level they are at. My lesson rate is $50/30mins or $90/hour yet this is always discussible.
If you are interested in taking a lesson, feel free to leave me a message. I look forward meeting you and working together to achieve your dreams!
Other than violin skills, I believe that developing student's confidence and communication skill are also important. Thus, I would love to connect with students through music and always welcome students to share their thoughts.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
For beginner or kids from 5 years old, I will help them to read the notes on staff and to be familiar with the basic fingerings. Then, I will begin to start short pieces and some easy etudes to build stronger and solid fingers. Meanwhile, suggest the students some music to listen for building their music expression and interpretation.
For the adult or teenager, I would like to know their levels and ask what is his/her goal, then decide where to start and what the material will be.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have many wonderful/world famous teachers who helped me a lot through my violin learning journey, both physically and mentally. I would like to share my experience and what I've learned to my students.
