Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The basis for our lessons begins with a strong structure of music theory. All students, not only learn to play their instrument, but we also teach music theory. Students will learn to read and write music along with playing their instrument.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have been providing lessons to our students since 1985 and are a member of the American College of Musicians.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Lessons start at $90/monthly for most instruments and include one private lesson a week for 30 minutes with only the student and instructor in the studio.
You will attend your lesson on the same day and time on a weekly basis.
What types of students have you worked with?
We have students ranging from 5 years old to over 70 years old. It's never too late to learn an instrument.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students should think about what they want to learn. For example, do you want to have a strong foundation of music theory as well as learning to play an instrument? This will always help you to learn other instruments in the future.
